Our staff are dedicated to working hard to provide a safe and warm environment for the children at our nursery. All staff have safeguarding children and paediatric first aid training regularly and undergo enhanced CRB checks to ensure their suitability. We also give our staff good development opportunities and offer continuous training in order to keep them updated on the latest news within childcare.
All children have a member of staff assigned as their key person. This person acts as a key point of contact for parents and works to ensure the child is settled at the nursery and that their care and activities are tailored towards the child’s needs and interests.
Staff seniority can be identified by tabard colour: senior staff – red, qualified staff – green, trainees – blue, students – yellow.
NATALIE BA (Hons) Early Years
My name is Natalie and I am the manager of Sunshine Day Nursery. I have worked in childcare for all of my working life, of which almost 15 years have been in nursery managerial positions. I have a real passion for childcare and I am dedicated to making the nursery a home from home for our children, and a place where they feel happy and secure while also gaining the tools they need to be ready for new adventures at big school.
I’m Paris and I am the deputy manager at Sunshine and also the room leader of the pre-school room. I have only ever worked in childcare and love that no two days are the same. I am committed to making sure every child at our nursery leaves with a smile on their face after a day of playing and learning with their friends.
